A decade ago, a woman past 24 would be made to feel her age -- her family would pressure her to marry while she still looked good in a wedding dress, her boss would start ignoring her to pay compliments to the new 22 year old sitting three desks down, and society as a whole would revere the "JK (high school girls)" as goddesses sent down from heaven to tell us what's cool.
But as more women displayed an aversion to marriage and a preference to stay in the workforce come tidal wave, smirks or sarcasm, the landscape began to shift.
